KTeaTime Matthias Hoelzer-Kluepfel KTeaTime is a utility available as part of the KDE desktop environment for Linux/UNIX. It functions as a "normal" desktop utility, and is essentially a fully functional, configurable timer, with the sole purpose of timing teas. Users may choose from a variety of teas and their brewing times, or configure KTeaTime for use with their own custom teas.
A Windows adaptation of KTeaTime, Mortens WTeaTime, has been created by Martin Halle as a system tray (taskbar) application. While opening the world of tea timing to Windows users, WTeaTime also allows for use as a general timer, and thus may prove a distraction for users who need to focus their full attention on timing tea.
[Note: KTeaTime is part of the Kdetoys package, which may be downloaded as source code from the download link below, or installed as a binary through the package managers of a number of Linux distributions.]
